What the course covers

5 units and 55 topics in the order of the course framework (the revised course, first examined in May 2027), plus 5 math topics placed where they are first needed. Each topic has an interactive lesson, a free notes page and exam-style practice, and each unit a printable unit sheet.

939 practice questions, many in stimulus sets that share one data set, plot or table, as on the real exam. Every option has its own explanation; a number from a table and the same number from a calculator are both right. Practice checks what the exam checks: data and plots to read, the setup shown as the exam asks, and conclusions written in context, with the math you need placed just before it is used.

All 60 topics are built, each with its lesson, notes and questions.

How to use it

  1. Read the lesson. It checks what you need first, then walks the cause and effect one step at a time, with a picture for every process.
  2. Answer as you go. Anything you miss goes into your review queue and comes back when you are about to forget it.
  3. Train the hard parts. Sampling distributions, intervals, p-values, chi-square and regression, each checked step by step.
  4. Check your mastery. Your dashboard shows it by unit, topic and skill, and every miss links to its lesson.

Ten trainers for what the exam marks hardest.

Take a thousand samples and watch a sampling distribution build, drag a point and watch the mean and the regression line move, capture a parameter with a hundred intervals, shade a p-value, then answer the questions about what you saw. The data explorer, probability trees and sampling distributions trainers are free.

Unit 1 · Exploring One-Variable Data and Collecting Data Potential Problems with Sampling

A talk show asks viewers to text in their opinion of a new law; 50,000 viewers respond and 85% oppose the law. What is the best criticism?

Show the answer

Viewers chose to respond, so strong views are overrepresented A voluntary response sample is biased toward people with strong views. A huge sample does not fix it.
